So it's worth upgrading to a 8700g? Is there anything that you could do with the 7105t that you can't do with the 8700g? What about ringtones....

It's no question that the 8700g is better than the 7105t. The 8700g has MP3 ringtones and the 7105t doesn't.

If you care about small phone-like form factor, you want the 7105t.
If you care about data speed (EDGE), screen size and/or qwerty, the 8700g is for your.
If you care about MP3 ringtones, you might look at the TREO

Most important thing, the 8700 is sooo much faster because it has the intel processor.

Good point. 710xt could not be much slower. EDGE plus XSCALE is a nice improvement.

Thanks, Mark
