Default copying pics and ringtones to 8700G - 06-20-2006, 10:47 PM

Okay, I've got my 8700G pretty well figured-out, email and messaging are working fine using my Tmobile BB BIS accounts. However, I must be having a senior moment because I see the picture viewer icon on my BB but I can't figure-out how to copy pictures to the device...same goes for adding my store of MP3 ringtones...any pointers?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/144)

This is a well discussed topic. Do a search here for quick answers.

I agree but I've searched this forum and all I can find are some references to putting ringtones on a private web server for downloading to the BB...this is ridiculous for the average person and maybe it just can't be done...I can't find anytihng on copying pics to my BB...can you recommend search terms that may lead to answers?

You can't "copy" pictures to your BB... the only way to get pics onto your BB is to send them to yourself as attachments or save them from a web page you're browsing on your BB. Same goes with MP3's, except that you can't send them to yourself. You have to download them from a website. If you have access to MS Outlook Web Access or other online mail services you can send MP3 and WAV files to yourself and access them through the BB's web browser and save them to your BB... I hope that actually made some sense...

If you can’t be a good example, then you’ll just have to be a horrible warning.
