I asked this question today to a Cingular tech rep on the phone. He said if you delete one of the folder icons it could mess up your email delivery. as you kno, an email to your home account will file to both the "message" folder and your "you@xxx.com" folder. I too would like to know if I can get rid of one. I know have three icons...the message, my work outlook, and my personal. as a last result, you could hide the unwanted folders.

You can't delete them.
Don't delete them - just hide them...

If you get rid of the messages folder, where will your SMSs go?

The "Messages" Icon still works like it always did. The new icons are an unnecessary addition from upgrading to 2.0
Just hide the new ones and all is good.

Think of the new icons as the same as your message app icon with a preset filter added to only show emails sent to the pulled address (which I believe they really are). You can decide based on this whether or not you want to hide them or not.

Hope this helps.
Rcbjr.
