Default voicemail notificaiton/messaging? - 06-29-2006, 11:34 AM

when someone leaves a voicemail i get a window that pops up telling me i have a new voicemail message and i can either answer "ok" or "save". hitting ok just acknowledges it and leaves the little recording tape icon on the notification bar, and choosing save adds an entry into my vocemail messages box (alt+v from the messages window). i can't see any added value to any of this... whats the point of the popup message? whats the point of saving the notification? why not just have the little nofication on the home screen?

So you don't miss it and get pissed off at your phone because there wasn't a pop-up box letting you know that there was a new voicemail.

lol. so i get a voicemail popup notification, a missed call popup notification, a voicemail indicator on the home screen, and a missed call indicator on the home screen. seems like overkill IMO.

oh well.
