I usually always use the default BB browser but in a couple of cases I've had to switch it to the IE emulator to do something while browsing. I've never used Opera Mini but I'm sure you'll find a ton of reviews by searching for "Opera Mini".

I just starting using Opera Mini and really love it. There should be a ton of reviews of it here. But the best feature is when you follow a link and then go back, it's almost instant. Plus it leaves you on the part of the page you were last looking at. Simple little pleasures.

I removed the default Internet (BB) Browser in favor of Opera Mini. Keep in mind that Opera Mini does not support JavaScript, so if JS scripted pages are your mainstay, then I would advise you stick with Internet (BB) Browser.

I don't have the BB browser, the 8700f only comes with a wap browser from orange. After some help from the forum, I downloaded Opera Mini and it is fantastic. It does exactly what is says on the tin.
