Default Opening attachements 8700c Tmobile - 07-05-2006, 08:04 AM

Need some help here.
Running 8700c unlocked on Tmo with BES.
Emails with attachements cannot be opened.
I check with my BES people, and they say it should work.
When an email is received with an attachement (pdf) the attachement does not open. My tech people say it is Tmo, not the company settings.
Anyone have the same problem?

Ask the BES people to make sure that MDS is enabled for your account.

As NJ says, sounds like MDS is not enabled - but what error (if any) is displayed when you try to open the attachment? Ocassionally the attachment service has not started or is using the wrong account (should be Local System if the attachment system resides on the BES). Likewise, attachment server should be set to 'localhost' not the BES server name, which ocassionally I've seen cause this type of problem.
