Default Unknown Vibrating - 07-05-2006, 10:12 AM

Did a search did not find anything on this. Notice that occassionally I will have my 8700 in my hand it will vibrate. Only for like a split second, mind you I have no alert for anything set to vibrate. Has anyone else noticed this? When it does it I check to see if by chance an e-mail arrived, message, etc, nothing. Just noticed it the other day. Any ideas?

Thanks for the response, previous response was it was indicating low battery, but battery has a full charge. Well only happens very sporatically and sometimes goes days before I feel it again. If it gets worse guess I will have to contact Cingular and see what they can do for me.

Do you have blackberry messenger. I think it vibrates when someone from the contact list goes offline (Unavailable).

We have a winner!!! Blackberry messenger under options "Vibrate When Receiving a Pin" was enabled. Must be by default, as I never set that. No longer enabled now. Thanks

It happens to me when I put an appointment in my calendar. At the time my appointment starts is when it vibrates, only when I have it set to vibrate profile though.
