Default Question on BB 8700g TM email... - 07-10-2006, 01:14 PM

Hi there,

A newbie to BB, I just purchased the TM 8700 a few weeks ago and so far, lovin it!

My question is, sometimes when I get an email and click to forward it to someone I keep getting an error message. I assumed it was the person's email but then it happened on a few others. What I ended up having to do was take the original message and delete the original person's email and replace it with another. It seemed to work but wondering what I am doing wrong that I am not able to just forward emails.

Any ideas??

Also, a customer service agent at TM gave me this great site that allows you to see maps via satelite on your blackberry. You may know about this already but if not, check it out...google.com/gmm - from your BB then it automatically downloads something to your device and all you have to do in future is tupe in address and it gives you a map.

Thanks in advance,
Vicky

Can you post the error messages you are getting?

Yeah, what happens is that the email starts to send then all of a sudden a red X mark appears in my inbox (next to the email) and when I open up the email it says 'unlisted error message'. That's all it says. Perhaps I don't have my forwarding on in my settings but not sure how to fix that. Thanks for looking into this. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've had this happen too. I think the problem may be that you can't forward a message that is no longer on the mail server. Are you getting the 'X' for messages that are still on the mail server?

I concur as well

Also, you want to make sure that you are not forwarding a SENT item as that will not work in BIS 2.0.

What Is - Unable to forward a sent message with a BlackBerry Internet Service 2.0 account

Thanks to all of you for the advice. Salsa, I quckly checked out that 'what is' link and it gives some instruction that I think will be easier to do on my computer at work tomorrow.

BTW, does anyone know how I can change the home screen image on the 'keyboard lock' home screen - or should I ask this in another thread?
