Hi everyone, just got my 8700c and I LOVE IT!

But only one thing I can't figure out:

I don't get any ringing notification when I recieve SMS messages. Only the little mail icon and a 1 in the left hand corner, how can I set up a rintone to play when i get messages like this?

Hi, I'm sort of a newbie too, I have 8700g, but the way to change those settings is to go to the home screen and click the profiles icon. Then click on 'normal' (at least this is the setting I use) and then click 'edit' then scroll down to SMS and click again and highlight 'edit'. Then you can change settings to ring or not ring or vibrate etc 'in holster' and 'out of holster'. This is how it works for me on my phone, can't imagine it would be much different on yours...good luck
