Default 8700g calendar stopped working - 07-19-2006, 05:44 PM

I did a search but could not find this issue. My calendar just stopped working. I depend on it very heavily everyday to alert me to meetings and just plain things I need to remember. I enter my note the same way as always but I am not receiving an alert and not receiving any silent notification of any kind. So I don`t think it`s an alert issue, I think there is something inhibited that I`m missing. The only thing I have done recently is change profile settings, but I have gone over and over the settings and the calendar should be working. I can enter any thing I want and at the appointed time nothing happens. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I`m lost without my calendar.

Try this, go to your active Profile and edit the Calendar entry. Change both the ih holster and out of holster to none and volume to mute. Exit and save. Exit profiles and do a COLD RE-BOOT (BATTREY OUT, WAIT 15 - 30 SECS, BATTERY IN). Then go back into the active profile and re ste them to the conditions and levels you want. Save, exit and repeat the cold reboot.
See if that doesn't fix the problem. If not you may need to reload the OS

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. That cold re-boot did the trick. Amazing.
