So I had one of the "loose" keypads on my 8700g and I kinda liked the way it felt. Well now it doesn't move anymore and the left and right keys of the keypad aren't very tactile anymore. The "alt", "a", "q", and "enter""" keys don't feel like they push down when I push them. Any ideas why? Dirt? If i took the phone apart and cleaned it would that void the warranty? Is there anyway tmobile could tell I had opened the case?

If you open the case, I am sure you void the warranty. Don't know if they could tell you opened it unless you damaged the case.

If its still under warranty, the carrier should replace it.

I just hate to call and be like "um, i need a new phone cause my keypad doesn't feel good anymore" It seems like a waste. I guess if it drives me crazy enough i will
