Not sure if it's the same on the 8703 but previously on the 8700c when I adjusted the volume all the way up when on a call in "speakerphone" mode before ending the call, the ringer adjusted to a louder volume as well. Apparently it's some kind of software glitch. I'm now using the 8703e on Verizon and the ringer is kind of low but I actually prefer that.

Some of the ringtones are louder than others. I use the Calypso tune, and it's nice and loud.

Calypso sucks though, I agree that the 8700c had louder ring speaker

I have great volume on my 8703e (Verizon) especially after I upgraded to the Sprint OS version.

I grabbed the original BB ringers from the simulator and threw them on a web site and saved them on the phone.. My Ring 2 is nice and loud now. =)

Just to confirm. The Sprint 8703e OS is louder the the VZ version. I had an updated 8700c and it was much louder.

I have the Verizon 8703 and I put the Sprint OS on it. The ringer volume is a tad louder...now I just wish the speaker and bluetooth volume was also!!!

Would you do it again if you had too. Is it worth the effort?

Try going to your profiles and selecting edit on the one you want to use it should then have a screen where you can go to phone on which you can raise the level of the volume

You should be able to download those right from your BB, either send the links to them or browse that post on your BB by going to:
