Default viewing HTML emails - 10-21-2006, 09:03 PM

Can i vew HTML emails on the bb. I often get emails with code and wodnering if there is a way to see the actual graphic on the BB?

If they are designed for a small screen you can. some are hard to read but ones that are designed to work fine.

I don't believe that HTML emails are viewable on a BB as you would see them on a desktop. Instead of pulling in all of the graphical links, it simply shows the url for the individual links. In some cases, the email will provide a link to view it as a webpage if you're having trouble viewing it as is. Otherwise, I believe you're out of luck.

yes you are correct but they will still display on the BB if the web is designed to send WEP. Some pages will give you a limited but viewable HTML

sseligson's problem is HTML in an email, not on web pages. HTML in an email is not possible. It is a security feature to prevent things like HTML phishing.
