Hi,

I've been using the 8700g for around 6 months now and the scroll wheel is starting to get worn (loose) and hard to control. It is too sensitive and hard to control especially when scrolling up.

Does anyone else experience the same thing? Anyway suggestions on how to solve it?

A hardware issue like that sounds like something you should contact RIM about and see about replacing the wheel, or even your Carrier if you bought the option for an extended warranty. Speaking of warranty, you have only had it for 6 months, so would it not still be under the manufacturers warranty?

I would get it replaced and then use it with less pressure
