Default Pocketday for 8703 on verizon - 11-01-2006, 05:53 PM

I tried to install it on my new bb 8703 and it doesnt run... it says there is a jav lang erro..i had this on my 8700 on cingular and i had no problems..someone help please!!

I run it fine on my Sprint 8703e. I am sure there isn't a difference between ours that hinders it.

I would uninstall it and try again. You did it through the OTA right? I believe that was how I installed it (I think they offer it both ways).

Unless you posted it at their site to, this was the response from an admin there:

This is a bizarre errror as support has told you. Go to options/security/application permissions and make sure that pocketday is set to Allow for everything.

Also, make sure your BB firewall is disabled.

I install it, then i try to run it, and when i click on use trial it freezes up and then i get a message saying java. lang. error

i uninstalled it but i didnt have problems with the install on 8703e (verizon)

i wonder if its due to me having photopix caller id installed and its causing conflicts?

I installed it on my Verizon 8703E and it runs great. Make sure you downloaded the right version for your phone b/c there's one for the 8100 on their site.
