Default programmable keys and vodafone today - 11-02-2006, 02:12 PM

I have installed the Vodafone 4.1.0.351 Version and the Vodafone TODAY Theme.

Now I tried to setup the 2 programmable keys on the 8700 but in the setup --> display/keyboard is only the key on the side available.

When I change the theme I will see both programmable keys, but if I change the function and switch back to the vodafone today, also the key features is changed.

Any heldp to solve this problem.

Greetz

Steven

The programable keys don't transfer via themes, especially with the today theme. On the today theme the only key that would be programable is the side key since the center key is used for the menu with that theme.

Default thanks - 11-02-2006, 02:19 PM

Thanks for the fast reply but you don´t need the middle key for the menue. you have still the possibilty to access the menu and I had a previous version running with which I could switch themes, setup the keys, switch back and it was working.....

So no chance to get bluetooth on the middle key?!

Right you can still access the menu other ways but that version of the software, same version as mine, you cannot switch the center key for the today theme.

Also this version .351 won't allow you to change the keys in one theme and switch to another with the settings not changing. Not quite sure why that is. You could try switching your OS to a different version.
