I'm a Blackberry newbie who needs help. Did a forum search on global delete but found nothing.

Is it possible to delete all emails from an account that are on the Blackberry? If yes, will the delete effect only the Blackberry?

I have two email accounts on my Blackberry. From time to time on one account I do have the option of delete prior which erases all my emails on the Blackberry. This option never is listed as an option on the other account.

the option to delete prior is listed only when you highlight a date in the message list

Goto your Messages, select today's date, click the scrollwheel and select 'Delete Prior'

Depending on the way that you have reconciliation set, it may or may not delete the original items from their source email account. Personally, I have mine set to only delete items on the handheld.

Using Delete Prior will ONLY delete messages on the handheld. The deletions will NOT sync back to your mail program.
