Wirelessly posted (8700 C: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Can anyone tell me the benefits of google talk? Can that communicate with AIM or MSN? And I keep hearing about a hack. Not sure what that's for.

Also I have 8700C with cingular... Was wondering if google talk used the data plan like RAMBLE or does it kill your SMS plan?

It's through your data plan.

The "hack" refers to the fact that you can modify your google talk account to act as a Jabber. Which of course allows you to IM between different clients like AIM, MSN, etc...
