I'm a relatively new BB owner. With all of the cell phones that I have owned over the years, they all have had a signal of some kind to let me know that I had missed a call. My BB doesn't seem to have that? Can I add an audible, visual, or vibrating signal that would let me know that I missed a call? Also, is there any way to "goose" the volume on the BB speaker. Alas, the older you get the harder it becomes to hear things.......

I have the 8700c from Cingular, and when I miss a call, a phone icon with an x next to it, appears.

I forget how to get to it (a noob myself!) but you can set the volume to high.

I think it is under Profiles, then which ever is active, then Phone.

Glad to be here....I don't have an answer right now to the missed call issue, but I DO agree that the sound might be better if it were a little higher...but it is better than the cellphone that I had before. bbtm1
