Default Backup Contacts with Locked Company Laptop? - 11-27-2006, 11:15 PM

Title pretty much explains it. I can't install anything. I don't have access to another computer and I'm getting a warranty replacement in a day or two. Help!

Ya gotta have a pc unless you are on a BES. If you are on a BES then hopefully your contacts were set to wireless sync and they'll come back when you activate on the BES. If not, you need a pc. Your carrier may be able to do it for you, too.

Are you connected to a BES server? If so, your contacts are probably synching with your email program already. If not connected to BES just install Desktop Manager on your home PC and backup your device.

Remember, please try searching first!

Need a screenshot? ... Like JavaLoader?
Try using BBscreen .....Use JL_Cmder!
or BBScreenShooter!

Sorry, forgot to mention im on BIS. My work does not (for whatever reason) support me using my blackberry for my corporate email. That would be a second part of my question. I have to be on my corporate laptop connected to my vpn to check my email with lotus notes. Is there any way for me to bypass this to get my corporate email on my blackberry?

Man, who do you work for, the CIA? If you can get them to allow you to forward email from your corporate account to another email address then you could have that address sent to your BlackBerry but from the sounds of it they aren't willing to help too much.
