Default BB Messenger on 8700g problem - 12-13-2006, 05:41 PM

I have noticed this problem going on for a while and I can't figure this out. My friend, his wife, and I all have 8700g from T-Mobile. On the BB Messenger app it will say one of us is unavailable on occasion even when we are right next to each other and not out of coverage area. (full bars) If we turn the wireless off and then on,, it will sometimes change back to available. Recently, his said unavailable for a whole week, never switching back to available the entire time. In investigating I have found:

1. When he is unavailable, I can't send him a PIN message either. Gmail works fine, but not PIN or BBM.

2. None of us have changed our status to busy, it just goes unavailable by itself.

3. This happens to his and his wife's BB but not so much to mine.

What I want to find out is if this happens, or has happened, to anyone, and if, or how, was it fixed?

The carriers may not consider these messages important to pass during busy times. And they get no money for this service and in the cell business it all about income that pays for the bandwidth.

I pay therm a monthly fee for this service. They do make money from it. What about the PIN messages? When he's unavailable they don't go through either.
