Default Auto-Answer Patch/Hack for 8700c - 12-23-2006, 02:25 PM

Does anyone know of a patch or hack for 8700c to cause it to auto answer an incoming call (like almost every other cell phone on the planet does)?

Normally, would never imagine using this, but I have the BB hooked via BT to the intercom on my motorcycle. Don't hear the phone ring, but intercom will cut mute music source when phone goes off hook, and this will be sufficient alert.

Have same problem when hooking up via external headset jack on 8700c. No alert ton to advise phone is ringing.

Alternate to auto-answer is to send some sort of ringing/alert tone through BT or external headset port to let me know phone is ringing.

Thanks!
Tony
