Default A message notification without a message... help - 12-24-2006, 07:06 PM

My 8703e has recently started showing a message icon... however, there are no messages! I checked all my v/m, all the emails, all calendar events, etc., but no matter what, I cannot get this last one to disappear. Any ideas on where it is coming from? It's just annoying, not really affecting anything.

Also, I had a new Blackberry sent (something was wrong with the one I had prior to this), and there was a password set on it... after doing the 10 wrong ones, it let me set my own, but I'd prefer not to have any password on it at all... can anyone instruct me on how to do this? It seems once it is on, you can't turn it off, only change it.

If you have unanswered missed calls, they will show up as messages on come themes.

If you have an IT security policy set you cannot drop the password requirement unless you can get your IT to remove the policy.

Without a doubt it will be a missed call.
