Default hiding apps/icons - 02-14-2007, 10:43 AM

ok i am kind of new here.. but i figured out you can hide icons on your main screen.. so i hide a few but all that happened is that they got greyed out...
is that all that "Hide" does or is there a way to totaly make it disapear from the main screen?

click the "B" button while your looking at the hidden icons, and make sure there is no chek mark beside "show All". This should hide them.

Where is this located? I could do it no problem with the 4.1 version of the OS, now I can't see to find it at all on the 4.2 version (using BB 8700c).

You should be able to press the ALT key and the Trackball while on the home screen to get the menu to either show or hide icons.
