Default 8700C must have accessories - please assist - 04-24-2007, 11:26 AM

Hi All. I am getting an 8700C in 2 weeks from my employer. I thought I was getting the 8800, but 8700C's are what was chosen. I've been searching this site for info. on cases/pouches, bluetooth, etc. WOW there is a lot of info! Can you all help me with some must have with the 8700C? This is my first BB. I definitely want at least 2 cases, a bluetooth headset, etc. Please name brands and recommendations.
THANK YOU!
JP

I don't use a BT and usually get a stock case.... One thing that I believe is a MUST have is a Best Skin Ever to protect the unit.... It can't be beat for $6...

I never have a BB without one on it!!!!

Welcome and good luck in the search for your items

I'm a big fan of the RIM leather holster. Comfortable and stylish, plus it does a great job of protecting.

I just got the RIM branded plantronics HS-655 the other day, and so far it seems to be an awesome headset.

All I really used with my 8700c was a Plantronics Voyager 510, the RIM leather holster, and a screen protector.

I have a Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset with my 8700 and it works like a charm! RIM leather case, as previously stated, is great as well.

I'm sure the skins are nice, but I picked up one of these on ebay. I was skeptical, but hey ,that day I just had let my bb meet concrete so anything to protect it was an automatic IN for me.

eBay: BLACK HOUSING CASE COVER FOR BLACKBERRY 8703e 8700g NEW (item 280107425606 end time Apr-24-07 16:03:22 PDT)

It makes the overall BB a little bigger, but I found a pouch to fit it with no trouble at all. Great case protector, and for 7 bux, can't beat it.
