Unhappy Help! Cap lock randomly turns on and off - 05-01-2007, 11:24 PM

Does anyone know if I can somehow disable the cap locks key. Whenever im using any app, dialing a number, writing an sms, the cap arrow up in the left corner just turns on and off randomly. The button seems to not do anything at all. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Nope -- and that's the Right Shift key. Caps lock is a secondary feature (like @ is the secondary of the P key). Sounds like a hardware issue but you can pull the battery to verify.

Question 05-17-2007, 09:13 PM

I'm having this same problem. I thought it might be a software issue since I was running an older OS version. I installed the latest version, but I'm still having this Caps Lock problem.

Could you elaborate on this? How do you verify this when pulling the battery? I removed the battery, but didnt see anything.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Has anyone else experienced this same problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Sorry for all the questions....I'm just very aggrivated by this and want to get to the bottom of this. Thanks for all your help!
