Okay, I have looked around, asked around and nobody seems to know the answer within our group so I figured I would ask everyone here.

A month or two ago the number 1 with what looks like a little world next to it popped up on my blackberry across from where my e-mail notification pops up. Anyone have any idea what this is and how to get it to go away?

Message Folder > View Folder > View Browser Push messages. It will be there. Delete or open it, and the icon on the home screen will go *poof*.

You likely subscribed to some browser push message or asked for a browser page at some point when your signal coverage was out and you told the browser to save the request...
