Default new to blackberry and need help :/ - 06-01-2007, 12:35 PM

I'm from england, so lets hope some british people are on here or that the phones are the same.. I just upgraded from a sk2 to a blackberry 8700g, I wanted sk3, but they have been discontinued here and then I went for a 8800g, but they didn't have any and me being so impatient, I settled with a 8700g. Now, I basically only got it for aim because I use that a lot and I come to find when I go to download applications all there is is

blackberry
googletalk
yahoo..

and no aim? is there anyway to get it on the blackberry 8700g? also about the mp3, before I got it I checked and it said "mp3" and the lady at the store said I could probably store upto 10 mp3s on the phone but no more because it only has 64MB and no memory slot, could anyone please help me!

ps. the bluetooth, i've had sk2 for so long and never bothered with any other phone with bluetooth so I'm confused. can people using blackberries not have access to peoples files? I get the names up, but don't know how to view files of theirs..

1. Yes there is AIM, but you will have to download it. You will do better with another Instant Message application because AIM on the BB is horrible.

2. No expanded memory slot. Yes can load a "few" MP3s, but I would not do so, for the low memory you will have.

3. No Bluetooth transfer between phones with your 8700g.
