Default Setup 8700c - 06-01-2007, 12:37 PM

Hey everyone i'm expecting my 8700c any minute now...... I want to make sure i have everything in line to get this working asap.......

What do i need to do in what order to get it working?? as far as calling cingular to activate it and installing the OS and desktop manager??

this is my first blackberry so i'm COMPLETELY clueless as far as getting it up and running......

Your OS will be installed.

--Charge it to 100%, whatever amount of time that takes, one hour or six.

--Activate with Cingular. Purchase a BlackBerry Data Plan, along with your voice calling plan. BBDP is must have for data, internet, email, etc.

Sign up your BIS account and add your email:

You will have service books pushed to your phone for the email addresses and the browser. After that, all should work well.
