how do i set my 8700g to display my tasks and daily notes on my calandar every time i turn on phone.

Download/Use the BB BB Dimension Today theme or buy/download/install PocketDay. PocketDay is probably the best solution in your situation. Those are the only ways I know right now. PocketDay

bbtoday would work. it's open source (free). search the forum for the sourceforge download link.
