Default Bluetooth Sync with 8703 - 07-07-2007, 07:54 PM

I have a 8703 and I'm trying to use my Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS850, when driving my car. Am missing something on getting it to recognize the headset. I've followed the limited instructions, but to no avail. I had no problems using it on my Motorla E815. Thanks in advance.

Have the BB ready to do a search for bluetooth devices. Hold the button down on the HS850 until the blue light comes on steady. When the blue light comes on and while continuing to hold the button, open the mic and let go of the button. Now search for the device from the BB. It should detect the headset. Enter 0000 for the passkey when asked.

I am using the HS850 with my BB8800, and used it with my 8700c prior tot he 8800.

Make sure it is in pairing mode. From what I remember, you have to press the call button and get a steady blue light and then open the boom. Then have the BB search. It should find it. If it asks for the code, it is 0000.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8860: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Isn't that what I posted?

Default problems pairing Moto 850 and BB 8310 - 11-13-2007, 10:57 AM

My new BB 8310 recognizes my HS850, but then asks, "enter numeric passcode for Motorola HS850" What's this? Never saw this before.
Help.

Help.
when it asks you for the numeric code just type in 0000...you will only have to do this once.
