I need to be able to upload files off my computer and email them as attachements from my 8700g. Is this possiable, and if so How do i get the files from my computer to the blackberry. I installed the new desktop software 4.2 and tried using media manager, but it doesn't reconize the device. Please help. Thanks

In order to transfer media (i.e. pictures and music) via Desktop Manager you need to have the handheld OS v4.2 installed on the BlackBerry. There are instructions on how to upgrade to the latest version of the handheld OS v4.2.1.96 at the top of the 8700 forum saved as a sticky.
