Unhappy my 8700g wont send text messages - 08-15-2007, 12:23 AM

i can recieve texts but they wont send :( and if they do send they take so long to send, i have an 8700g from tmobile.


IM SO SLOW WHEN IT COMES TO MY CRACKBERRY !!

Is it a new device to you? Have you been Ok with sending in the past? If so you may try a hard reset (battery pull).

yeahh i like send over 400 messages a day and ive never had a problem, and jsut today it stopped sending texts like a text i sent at 12 pm my friend is now responding to. i tried pulling the battery and it hasnt worked.

I would give it some time to see if it works itself out. You could also send a text message to yourself to see how long it takes. I seem to have experienced this in the past and it eventually worked itself out.

kk im soo impatient, like i was soo tempted to call tmobile and just get the 8800 but i was thinking about what my dad might do since it hasnt been a year since ive gotten this phone, and i change phones like a person changing jackets

Generally with SMS issues you need to call your carrier and verify that you're properly provisioned. A battery pull might help but if it doesn't then call TMO. You TMO guys have no excuse for not calling since their CSR's know what they're doing, unlike at&t...
