Default Calendar is gone! - 08-20-2007, 01:44 PM

I was syncing my calendar with my mac and there was disconnect. Now the calendar on my blackberry is gone. When I call it up the only thing on the screen is the top menu, no calendar whatsoever. When i try to sync again, the software just stops. Does anyone know how to get the calendar back on my blackberry? I cannot use the desktop software since it's only for PC and not mac!

Personally, never heard of that problem before but am not a mac user either.

Have you tried rebooting by removing the battery and reinserting? If the calendar app is still corrupt after a reboot then I would say a reload of the OS is necessary. You'll need to find a PC for that.

well, I tried to reboot by removing the battery, now it is in an endless cycle of reboot. The image just keeps spinning and I let it go for 3 hours and it is still going.

You'll need to follow the instructions in the faq's below and reload your OS. You'll need a PC.

Well, the crazy thing was the only way you could take it out of it's endless rebooting cycle, which was going on three hours, was to remove the battery. So, went to Verizon, my provider, showed their tech the problem, and they got me a new phone. They couldn't figure it out.
thanks for you help though!
