Default 8700 UPgrade and Modem Issue - 08-22-2007, 12:09 PM
I upgraded my BB to the latest (4.2.1.91) TMO release and now I cannot connect my laptop to TMO when using the 8700 as a modem. Any suggestions??

Have you called T-Mobile about this? There may be something new that needs to be done since the upgrade.

Thanks - I did another search of their web site and spoke to someone. Seems that that upgrade can disable the firewall so it needs to be enabled and reset via the security options.
Problem solved -
