I am using the latest os which is 4.2.1.91.I wanted to reinstall it but it took me only 1 minute(maybe less to do it)Application Loader,Next,Advanced,Erase all application data, next,Don not automaticlly restore and backup, next.those are the steps i am taking. The phone will turn to its factory settings and i dont see an error.Everthing seems fine.Just confused why it takes so quick.I remember upgrading from the 4.1 to 4.2 it took almost 30 minutes.Just wanna make sure i am reinstalling it right, thanks

Did you click on Options -> About and verify the version number?
Also, can you add some spaces between your sentences? They are kind of hard to read.
I dont need the version number since i am not changing the Os.All i am trying to do is reinstalling the software(i am having connection issues). What is the proper way to reinstall? Thanks
If you wanted to reload the same OS I would recommend erasing the OS using Jl_cmndr, then you can reload the 4.2.1.91 OS. They way you are doing, I don't think anything is happening. I would recommend upgrading to the very latest 8700 OS, which is 4.2.1.101. I am using that one and it is the most stable I have used.

JL_CMDER?? I dont even know what this is lol.Looks like a 3rd party. Why do i need a third party to resinstall my Os? Is there no easier ways to do this?
Wow.All this time i thought i was reinstalling my Os but now i see all i was doing was erasing the applications.Hmm.But why does the BB not have its own wiping feauture? I mean this Jl Cmndr can be very confusing for inexperienced users. For every single problem i call Tmobile they suggesting me to reinstall the Os.Is this what they mean by that? If yes,wooooow..I dont think that anybody in the customer service knows about Jl Cmndr...It feels kind of weird that a 3rd party program is the only way to wipe the software..
