Default T mobile 8700g to rogers. - 09-13-2007, 08:52 PM

Hello everyone,

I would gladly apreciate all the help that I can get for my phone here it is:
Got a Tmobile 8700g from a relative in the us and wipe it all could not get it to load rogers file but with the help of paches got it to load and I was told that these phone were already unlock by t-mobile but I can't get my sim to work it give me an "insert sim card". When i got to the sim card section in option there is nothing and I do the MEPP code to view and it is not doing anything.

Do I need to put a Tmobile sim to be able to view the sim or...

Thanks in advance for all the help that you can give me.

Regards.

If it says "insert sim card" I would make sure the sim is inserted properly. If the phone is locked, usually it will say "invalid sim card."

TMobile's 8700g does not come unlocked from TMo. Unless someone has already unlocked it, it's locked to TMobile.
