My boss has a 8700 and I have a 7290.

On my 7290 I can click the phone icon then start to enter letters of someone's name and the list narrows as I type to those that meet that criteria.

My boss has tried to get his 8700 to do the same thing but it doesn't work.

What setting does he need to change or is this not possible with the 8700?

Hold down the green 'send' key for a few seconds and you'll be able to do that on the 8700.
