Hmmm, I'm kind of disappointed my auction didn't fetch more--oh, well. So much for my plans to finance my quest for world domination by selling black Verizon 8830s!

From which company did you order your stuff? I got only a keyboard from CN and while it arrived in about a week, I was required to PERSONALLY SIGN a receipt so had to go to my post office. But if your status is "stalled" you might want to contact someone. Also if it is also an international shipment, it could be stalled in customs????

ordered from CNN. USPS registered it in NY and said it left on the 19th. no update since then. wish i would have spent the extra $12 and had it for the last two weeks.

Only sucky thing about USPS is either they are really fast or really slow.

I would call USPS and track your package down.

Oh, are you NOT in NY? So it has to go elsewhere in the US? I'm on the west coast so it may have been more direct.

It probably did take 7-10 days but it sounds like something is amiss with your order or Customs found something wrong????

Are you sure that they did not attempt delivery and no one was there to sign for it? CNN seems to require a PERSONAL signature and, as I said, I had to go to the post office.

i'm down in TN. I've checked the mail everyday and the front door and have not received anything yet. i'm usually here when the mail lady comes. i sent USPS an email today with all the info and tracking number. My concern is that it says "your item was processed and left our facility on june 19th at 1:11pm" i'm guessing it's been lost since then.

Great. Now have fun installing it. Actually, rather then scanning back.... what is IT? (g) The entire shell or just a keyboard?

I have to agree. This is a very simple project. I installed the black shell and keyboard today during lunch as my pizza heated.

I think the new shell fits a little better, feels more solid.

The blue backlight on my Verizon silver keys are driving me nuts and plan on swapping the pieces to black. Are the 88xx pieces sold at CNN original RIM or aftermarket? I've checked out other sites and it double the price to do a swap.
