Default BES Sync not working - 10-21-2007, 01:31 AM

My exchange/bes system was working fine earlier today...now it does not work with my 8830. New emails are pushed to the bb, but they stay on the bb. The folders are not actually syncing after they are deleted or moved. Any suggestions on what would be causing the system to stop syncing? I have deleted my device and readded. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled bes.

Thanks

Matthew

Are there any other users on the BES?

FYI, the feature that sounds like it is not working is 'wireless email reconciliation'.

Are other BES users having issues with this as well?

What BES version is it?

Is Wireless Email Reconciliation enabled on the device? Does it show as enabled for this user on the BES?

what caused the problem, i beleive, is a reinstall of exchange. What fixed the problem was sending a wipe to the device, deleting the user in bes, and starting over. Nothing lost, just reinitiated the device.

reinstall of exchange?

Did you change the server name? or the storage group name? or the mailbox store name?

If so, that may be the cause. The BES still should have started to work correctly after a bit of time (generally less than an hour after starting up a new Exchange server with the user's mailbox there)
However, it soulnds like there is a lot of steps that would need to be covered for this to be clear. Like how were mailboxes moved/recovered, ect.

Thanks for letting everyone know what the fix was though.
