Default sync question - 10-21-2007, 07:13 AM

I have a BB 8820 and have recently migrated from the Palm and Eudora world to the Outlook and BB world. What a chore to do, but now that it is set up, it is working well EXCEPT after each sync, I receive a message:

"there were a total of 446 records skipped during the sync as summarized below: address book: device 0 MS outlook 446"

The QUESTION: how to I identify which of my ~ 6000 contacts are the ones that are causing the problems?? the sync log does not help ID them

thanks

There are more detailed logs kept somewhere else, but I forget where! Try under:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Research In Motion

Also, the Address Book hates entries that have no last name and no company name.

that took care of it

due to the migration, I had some "messy" contacts that I had not bothered to clean up -- only phone numbers or email addresses for example

once they were deleted, there were no issues

thanks
