Default Caller id trouble - 10-22-2007, 07:25 PM

I have an 8830 and when any call comes in it says Unknown Number. I have no clue what the trouble is. I've only had my phone for a couple of days and couldn't find anything on the forums to help fix my problem. Thanks in advance.

Default I bet that was it... - 10-22-2007, 09:01 PM

Caller ID on your BB is not the same as a telephone in your home. If you have the person listed in your address book it shows the name as you have it listed.

I bet he didnt have any addresses in his book.

Default I know that I had some issues - 10-23-2007, 12:42 PM

with the content protection settings, it was making keeping my contacts super safe! Otherwise, I am guessing the others are right, make sure you have the number in your address book.
