i have just got a BB8800. I cannot open, view or read any attachment although I can see the attachment in the email. what can be the problem and how to resolve it. many thanks in advance?

I had to go to the provider website where I set up my email accounts, and set up a filter telling my provider to send all emails to my blackberry. Even though I already get all emails sent to my blackberry, this was necessary to get the attachments to work.

I used bell.mobility.ca, but I am not sure what your website would be.

Its a free program which enables you to read attachments.

thanks. it does not look to have resolved the problem.
I installed beamberry and program works fine. however, when I try to open an attachment using Beamberry, it fails to get the attachment and the screen shows a dialog box "retrieving document..." but never finishes. It looks something is blocking the attachment from reaching to my BB. Thanks anyway!
