Default How to delete contacts - 11-01-2007, 07:40 AM

I was wondering if anybody knows the proper procedure for deleting contacs on an 8800? Do you have to delete them in both places (device and Outlook) in order for them to not replicate back?

Thanks a lot.

If you're on a BES and syncing wirelessly you can delete in either place and it'll reconcile back to the other location. Are you on a BES? If not, how do you sync your data?

On BIS, you can delete in Outlook, and then set sync for Outlook to win, and they *poof*.

Or in App Loader, just delete your address book data from there.

It's not for me, it's for a friend. I believe they are on BES but I also think the wireless sync for Address Book is turned off. (I have no clue why someone would do this.)

So where would I configure it for Outlook to win? In DM or on the device?

Thanks for the help. It's not really what my friend wanted to hear, but until he can get his IT guys to turn on wireless sync on their BES, I guess he's stuck syncing it up via the cable and going accepting the changes.
