I have searched and read the previous info. My 8830 (turned off) just last week quit blinking green when charging and then turning constant green when fully charged. When turned on there is as indicator by the battery charge level that it is plugged into the charger.

Is there an option that I might have changed? Any suggestions?

Options > Screen/Keyboard > LED Coverage Indicator (On)

I have had certain time it stop blinking all together. but normally not with charging. maybe a bug in the phone since it has happened to me a couple times and i had service also...

I tried turning the Coverage LED On but that does not correct the issue.

LED blinks (green) if the phone is off and charging, otherwise i dont think you can get it to blink while its on.

Not to belabor the point, but my BB is off when charging and the LED no longer blinks as it previously did. I appreciate the advice from everyone.

mine does that about once a month, I have to take out the battery for about 10 seconds and reinstall it, works great again..

The battery removal/reset did the trick. Works fine now. Thanks for the advice.
