I downloaded the rogers firmware from here.

https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...C068A355BBA31A

i deleted the vendor file and installed the new os but now my bb8800 theme says at&t. I tought it would say rogers? is it normal to say at&t? If im doing it wrong can i have the instructions? Im with fido/rogers and im using a cingular bb8800 and trying to load rogers's firmware inside but it now shows at&t

Where does it say AT&T? When it's booting up, or on the home screen?

well it says at&t for the theme. On the top of the screen and booting up it still says Cingular. The OS seems to have changed since 1 icon disapeared. it's just that i tought the theme would say rogers or something like that... same thing when booting.

this is a unlocked cingular bb8800. i didn't put any mods on it, i just installed the rogers firmware.

well you cant change the branding info, no matter who's OS you use, but you can get the rogers theme (or any other providor theme), by editing the blackberry.alx file.

there is alot of info on how to do this, and even edited files to download on the forums.
