Can someone please link me to a page where I can download it off my blackberry. Do you know if I can do some kind of direct transfer from my computer to blackberry via USB ? For those programs ?

You cannot download AIM client by RIM and have it work on the VZW 8830. I do not believe the windows messenger will work either. The only ones that WILL work i believe are Gtalk and yahoo messenger. If you want AIM or Windows live mesesnger then you're going to have to fork over the cash for Jivetalk.

You've gotta pay for Jivetalk ultimately, which I don't mind as long as it works and I only have to pay for it once per phone. I will probably end up getting Jivetalk I just hope it works good.
