Default Micro Sd card question - 11-07-2007, 10:24 AM

I have made sure the media card support is on and mass storsge is enabled. I get a message saying "media card cannot be read verify that it is formatted" but when I try and format I get an error saying "media card format failed"
I have tried 2 cards a 1gig kingston and 1gig Telus mobility card both will not work. I also tried with the same setting on my wifes curve and both cards still failed. Am I missing a setting or something??

I did try the search button but came up short.

Are you able to insert them into your PC with the SD adapter? If so, then try formatting them in windows and then insert them in the phone.

I had a similar problem and discovered that my Memory card wasn't seated properly, I had to gently bend the upper arm (it was leaning towards the left) right ... Hard to explain, but look to make sure that you card is laying in their nice and flush.

Also, make sure that you slide the card into the rails on the door before you close the door. Don't lay the card down and close the door on top of it.
