I used to have a blackberry pearl, on that one, I was able to download a tone that would say "incoming message" when I got an email or text, and I was able to download "incoming email" for free too. I did this through the main page on the browser, but sprint has it to when you open the browser, it opens sprint store. Does anyone know where I can get this?

Excellent! thank you... now do you know where I can get a program that would change the led color on top when I get emails from different email accounts? A friend of mine had that on the blackberry, every time she would get an email in her hotmail, it would be blue, and then from her yahoo it was yellow, anyone? My friend moved out back home and no longer have contact with her. Thanks!

8830 led can not change with emails. only bluetooth(blue) Email or text or calls(red) Regular service.(green)

Handango.com has the program, I found it and installed it. The program is called "blackberry Alerts". I am able to change the color of the LED light on the top according to missed emails, missed sms, missed pins, missed voicemails, and missed calls. Sorry for not posting earlier, I was just playing with this program. I also downloaded BlackBerry smart viewer to see the full emails in HTML. Thanks guys for all of the help...this phone keeps surprising me with all of the options!!!
