Default Tethering problems - 11-20-2007, 11:33 AM

Hi all,

I recently downloaded the new BB OS for my SPCs 8830. I can no longer tether via DUN or BT.

When I try via DUN using the Sprint Mobile Broadbrand software I get a #678 error. It appears to connect for a second, I see the "modem enabled" message on the BB, but then it instantly disconnects.

Any suggestions of how to fix?

I also get nothing via BB.

Thanks

I notice that whenever I do an OS upgrade/downgrade - the initialization string that I set disappears on the modem. Not sure if that applies in this case but might be something to check.

Thanks, I'll try it. But I have no clue what that is. Could you provide some more guidance?

Thanks,
Jason
